Cured-In-Place Pipe Relining from Steve Ray Plumbing in Springfield, Illinois

How Our Cured-In-Place Pipe Relining Process Works:

At Steve Ray Plumbing, our CIPP process starts with an inspection and custom sizing service. Our technicians make sure that the polymer lining fits the length, offsets, and diameter of your residential or commercial sewer. Once the liner is filled with resin and saturated, it is placed in an inversion drum and prepped for launch. At the same time, the pipe that is to receive the liner (usually the basement mainline) is cleaned at high velocity, which descales the old pipe and removes residue. Then air compression is applied to install the liner from the access point out to the repair point at the city’s main sewer system.

Once the liner is in place, our calibration tube is inflated to push the liner up against the walls of the old sewer line, and then hot water is used to displace the air and cure the resin, which usually takes 1.5 to 3 hours. After we remove the calibration tube, you’re left with a perfectly lined sewer that runs from your home to the city main!
